tony romm@tonyromm.bsky.social · 2mo agoNew: The Trump admin said it intends to appeal an April court order that requires it to refund all of the tariffs collected under the slate of duties declared illegal by the Supreme Court. In short, the gov has said it can't/won't do this for all of the tariffs automatically.

these focus groups are just further anecdotal evidence for my view that trump is is understood as a totem for wealth and prosperity. these people are genuinely bewildered that he isn’t, and might in fact be a human being with ulterior motives
