How many times should you follow up after an interview to take the L and just accept that you’re being ghosted? Waiting to hear back on a prerecorded video interview, a first interview, and a second interview with no responses after a follow-up email to each. Also, WTF is up with this trend??

Learn to code, they said. So I learned to code. Well enough to teach other people to code. Get a STEM degree, they said. So I got a STEM degree. A Bachelor’s isn’t enough, they said. So I got a Master’s. Almost two years, hundreds of applications, and many interviews later? Still unemployed.
I'm still LFW as a geospatial/GIS data scientist/analyst, ideally in ag or climate. Specifically, I'm looking to be directly connected with/introduced to someone who can hire me for this sort of role. I'd especially love to work for Planet Labs or Google Earth/Earth Engine/Maps. Portfolio link:

I have a background in plant bio/ecology/modeling/ML/remote sensing, interested in climate tech or ag tech.
