I got these enamel pins made for Mareas and The Unmapping. The plan is to send perk packages to my members every season, and they’ll get to collect pins for each release. I also crocheted two styles of bookmarks for every one and got stickers of our most used custom emojis in our Discord. 💕 🌱

There's a sequence in Sinners (well, one of many) that I can't stop thinking about: Grace tells them they can’t just stay in the mill. They have to fight. Grace isn’t wrong to see the danger of waiting—not only for themselves but also for their families and village.

Holy shit this is such a terrible answer from the @illumicrate.bsky.social Chief of Operations/Head of Communications. Honestly saying nothing would’ve been less insulting

In regards to the comments/questions about server rule 13 (that’s the rule about HP/JKR) we don’t think rules in a community space should be taken as a reflection or extenson of Illumicrate’s business strategy, or the views of the members of the team. We previously offered a dedicated thread for discussion of these books for those who wished to discuss them, to keep the main server rule-compliant. That was shot down as people felt they had the right to discuss Illumicrate’s decision to do editions of these books in open forum.

I came across this application question last night: What's an example of when you went to *extreme* lengths to get something done? I was like (professionally) never. They rejected me promptly. I should’ve gone with my second answer: jumped out of a plane to deliver what could’ve been an email.

I have to imagine that many trad published authors have that draft or idea that is not written to market, or too weird for trad pub, or too far from their established genre. SEND IT TO ME. I WANT TO PUBLISH WEIRD THINGS AT MAREAS. (no, really, lemme read it, I beg.)
