MYSTIC

@mystic888wizard.bsky.social

Hello all, I’m mystic, I am a 22 year old non binary writer and artist who loves dnd and fantasy. I love to chat with anyone and am always open to Dm, this is also a queer and lgbtq+ friendly space. A wizard in my time off. Pookie is @yonevea.bsky.social 💕

#awesomecharacters This really does depend on what time in the plot the switch happens, some characters live pretty normal lives before or after the plot, but during would be an issue. Even then tho as much as I’d want to take Edwin’s place for a bit I could not do his many jobs 😂.

Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters You have to swap places with one of your characters for one week. You take their place and they take yours. No one else can tell. Who are you picking and why? Will it minimize problems in both directions? #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts

#septopolis Hopefully, I can get through this month unlike last month. I plan to be developing and designing the city that Rettick dwells in, because I haven’t actually put a lot of thought into it. Hopefully by the end of this month, it will be one of my more thought out cities and places.

Good morning #Septopolis! For our first post, we're going slow and spreading the good knowledge of the month around, as well as trying something in an attempt to make the month more manageable for myself. If you have no idea what Septy is, please check my pinned post to avoid jumping ahead! 📌

A daily prompt card for #Septopolis 2026, hosted by @khonri.com.

Intro, 1. Introduce yourself, your familiarity with "city building" or your goals, and what your anticipated community engagement will be throughout the month.

Interpret each prompt as suits your needs! Talk about relevant characters! Yap! Or don't! Develop a new city or whatever or talk about one you already built. Make friends.

The background features a slightly blurred and purple hued image of the upper section of a set photograph of Main Commercial Street in Fritz Lang's Metropolis (UFA, 1927) of towering buildings.

#sunsetchat When I was a child, it actually took me a while to learn how to read, not because I couldn’t but because I didn’t want to. It wasn’t until my teacher gave me a chapter book called Jennifer Murphy’s toad that I decided I could do it. It was about a girl and a talking toad 🐸

#SunsetChat Q1: think back as far as you can! What’s the first book you remember reading yourself. #PromptGame #WritingPrompt #QRP

#awesomecharacter It’s Willum the alchemist, he is the only person not fighting for their life every day 😂 He is a long-standing friend of Everett’s, but he is able to avoid most of the action and is just a helpful figure throughout. He can stay home, baking bread, spending time with his wives.

Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters Side Character Day! Which of your side characters is having the most fun in your story? Is there anyone who is just having a blast or a chill time, while everyone else is facing struggles and arcs? #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts

Strangely, despite all of his more expected interests, the only thing that he can’t resist is fishing. Every time he passes by a new spring or pond, the desire to sit down for an hour or so and fish strikes him. He grew up on the coast, and he and his brother had a traditional fishing together.

What tantalizes your character? An itch they MUST scratch? That if you, as the writer, wanted them to go mad you'd lock them in a room and not let them reach/do? #WritingPrompt #WritingQ #WriteSky #WritingCommunity

#Septemberworldbuilders Othos unbound starts in the summertime but the events of the story move over the course about two years. The harsh winter definitely does come into play, especially at the end of the plot as it is the start of a blue winter (I’ll elaborate later I’m sure) #promptgame

#anthropologyaugust We’ve talked about fantasy species and groups, but what about humans? Does your setting still have humans? If so what makes them feel unique when the are living alongside the likes of elves and dragons? Do humans have any unique traits they don’t have in the real world?

What makes humans feel unique?

#AnthropologyAugust For the last little bit of the month, I want people to be able to think about the groups they have developed the most. Pick a group or species and talk about what their architecture looks like. What is the inspiration for this style? What unique purpose does this style serve?

Day 29: Pick a group or species, what is their architecture like?
How is it different?

#anthroplogyaugust For the end of the final full week let’s talk about development. Which species in your setting became sapient the most recently? Are there any groups that are new to the conversation of sentience? Any animals that are recently now intelligent enough to communicate with others?

Day 28 : Which intelligent species in your setting became sapient the most recently in history?

#Awesomecharacters Mageslayers we often utilize dogs in their companies. Mostly using great hounds and blood hounds. Greyhounds are long, slender dogs, nearly the size of a pony with long snouts and powerful limbs. Bloodhounds are short and stocky dogs, the same as in the real world. 🧵 🐕

Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters Happy International Dog Day! Are any of your characters dogs, or do they have dogs? Please tell me about them! Alternately, please give me your character's most dog-like trait! 🐕 #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts

#anthropologyaugust Once again, a pretty simple one. In your setting, are there any intelligence species that are totally non-humanoid? Meaning non-bipedal without opposable thumbs. Or potentially possessing fins or maybe no limbs at all. How does this change society?

Day 27: Does your setting have any intelligent species that are non-humanoid?

#awesomecharacters Something that is surprising would be the level of Hadien’s inelegance, even he isn’t fully aware of how far ahead he is of the world. Of course Rettick makes him doubt his own mind at any opportunity to control him. But even he isn’t aware that Hadien is smarter than him.

Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters Let's have a wildcard day today! Tell me one thing about your character you think will surprise me (or others)! It could be something that rarely comes up, or something you only just realized about them! #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts

#anthropologyaugust Today let’s get a little spicy. Are any of the different species in your setting physically comparable? Can they have relations or does the anatomy not work like that? Are any of your species able to reproduce together to make a mixed offspring? Or are they too different?

Day 26 : Are any of your
species comparable physically or biologically? Could two species reproduce?

#anthropologyaugust Today let’s see if any of the species in your setting have unique natural survival features. Do any of the species in your setting have a natural affinity for magic? Or any unique magic abilities? Do any species have unique biological defenses like claws or wings?

25: Do any of your species

have natural affinities for

magic or unique defenses?

#anthropologyaugust Could’ve swore I posted this this morning. Today let’s talk about recreational substances. All cultures seem to have them, or at least most. What are some unique substances that are enjoyed in your world? Do any species enjoy something that would be poisonous to another?

Day 23: Do any species or groups in your settings have unique alcohols or drugs of choice?

I’ve been so dead on here for the last week my friends, partly taking a little break and also just a lot happening in person. Just a little overwhelmed by it all but I’ll post a few things tonight 🫡

#anthropologyaugust Sorry for the late one, I was at a pride fest. Pretty simple one today. Does your setting have any groups or species with unique diets? Are these diets unique because of cultural or religious reasons? Or are they because of unique biology? Any pure carnivores or herbivores?

Day 22: in your setting do you have any groups or species with unique dietary restrictions?
