Aliveness appreciator, dismalness depreciator, preoccupation precipitator, and reverie reciprocator. Jack of all trades, master of... Bio, technically. I'm looking for contract work (illustrative/design/consulting or otherwise)! evergeneforest@gmail.com

Our digital repositories team spends a great deal of their time now simply protecting our commoned public digital resources from bots. This insatiable, aimless, destructive desire to excrete novel slop is impeding our access to — and even damaging — our cultural heritage + vetted public knowledge.

'“I don't think that people appreciate how few people are working to keep these collections online, even at huge institutions,” Weinberg told me. “It's usually an incredibly small team, one person, half a person, half a person, plus, like their web person who is sympathetic to what's going on.'

With Hat Atelier is, no exaggeration, one of the most mesmerizing comics out there. Kamome Shirahama isn't "good at drawing" - she has great technical skill, yes, but she controls the flow like no one else, comes up with imagery that projects a world, and roots all of it in the themes of her series

I don't think I've made an "artist's profile" like this since I was a teenager trying Deviantart for the first time! It's my contribution to "Anatomy of an Artist", a zine by the Coup d'Oeil comics collective set to debut at MCAF and TCAF this year. Want to guess the species used for the balloons?

I made this poster some time ago of an assortment of my little "Jellular" organelle characters, some of which I've had since my high school days. Never got around to uploading it until now. It's been selling really well at conventions and delighting many a teacher and biologist, though!
