poor characters are usually either jokes or tragic. rarely allowed to be seen as just regular people, a fact of everyday life. on cory carson, i kept trying to push for the construction worker family to be portrayed as more realistically low-income, but it was deemed "too heavy a subject matter"

for the most part i have no interest in something once the original minds behind it are not involved. like i don't need more from someone else trying to either mimic an authorial voice or make a "fresh new take on a classic." just make something new at that point.

i think smoking is fine and i don't understand the big fuss. i smoke every day and so does my loving wife. we give our baby little tugs off our cigarettes every now and then and he loves it too. he even cries if we don't share with him now haha
