Incredibly proud to announce Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation as our headline supporter of Nacoa’s Chasing Yesterday Marathons. In July 2026, four runners will take on a world-first challenge. The world’s first negative time ultra marathon. 🎗️ Join us on this extraordinary journey.

I don’t think this stat will ever not be shocking. I’ve been doing training with the brilliant @nacoauk.bsky.social so I can give presentations about having a parent who drinks too much and the support Nacoa offers. If you’re in NI and work in a scenario where this might be useful, lemme know!

Children of alcohol-dependent parents are in every school. Yet by ignoring the issue by design we allow them to suffer in silence. Josh Connolly articulates this so powerfully on the latest COA Lives with @jonashworth.bsky.social . Watch on Youtube or listen where you get your pods.

We'll never stop fighting the good fight! @CalumBest These kids deserve more than what they currently get from government, which is a big nothing. We deserve so much better and we'll never stop fighting for the kids of tomorrow You are not alone!

Calls to the @nacoauk.bsky.social helpline from children living with parents with an alcohol problem have risen a staggering 60% since 2019 Highlights the devastating impact of alcohol - not just on the person drinking, but also on those around them www.express.co.uk/news/uk/2173...

We’ve all done it but… Telling these children that things are better than they are, or were, can actually cause more harm than good. It's something we spoke about in the #COAWeek special Children of Alcoholics Podcast with Josh Connolly and Chanita Stephenson.

Proud to share ‘Sam’s Story’, a brand new short film for Children of Alcoholics Week 2026. Based on a true story from the Nacoa helpline. Told through the eyes of a caller hiding from the chaos. Finding hope in the darkness. Helpline: 0800 358 3456 // Online support: nacoa.org.uk #COAWeek
