toxic yuri vn flatline girls: i think this one was not quite for us but there were certainly many shining moments. i wasn't sure if i would like the "gothic mechsplo" conceit but it did grow on me. really enjoyed the music in particular, and overall an interesting combination of styles. +bathroom

This vn was beautiful. I hadn't intended to take notes on it, but at a certain point I found I really wanted to start writing things down. Check out Tranniversary Death Drive, a submission to the Mixed Media Queer VN Jam. We loved the music, the video, and the gorgeous prose.

mostly text excerpts from the vn, but layered over one another in a way that makes them difficult to parse. "I could not grasp... I know now... that brief moment..." "there came no revolution and i never knew how to love her"... "a girl named ocean"..."you think you're god?" ..."my attractions form"..."not one tang of joy".. etc etc

have read Be Normal. Partially set in Florida, bleh. Unsavory. Clever. Liked the backgrounds. Felt like I hadn't fully absorbed the story and went back to reread after finishing but the game is not letting me. If intentional, I respect this. Attempted to draw it. Last page of this notebook! wow
