so, I kept waiting for a "quiet" day to post about it, but considering *everything* I'm realizing that day isn't coming so I might as well just start talking Some friends and I, including @slothysunday.bsky.social and @valkwise.bsky.social, are making a game. store.steampowered.com/app/4462890/...

After reading the surgery notes, even my surgeons were confused how even a bad fall on black ice could result in a shattered ankle and a broken tibia in 3 places. More recently after an X-ray, doctor told me she noticed signs of a prior break, as if there were weak points where the bone never healed

In 2024 I started writing poetry again, the thing I originally went to college for. I find that poetry and comics are the closest kin in regards to craft, but it had been a decade since I’d taken poetry seriously again. These came out in Mizna’s CATASTROPHE issue, which I can’t recommend enough.

Leg update - Good news, got my staples out (hurt like a bitch but definitely more comfortable without incisions closed with staples) Bad news, will be wheelchair/bedbound for another month at least…if anyone has tips for things to do that won’t aggravate my healing bones, would love them.

Major life update but if I am late in responding to you it’s because last month I slipped on black ice and unfortunately broke/shattered my right leg in 4 places. I had reconstructive surgery and have been recovering at home, will hopefully be walking by the summer. Am slowly getting back to it ❤️‍🩹

It is genuinely tragic to me that white marginalized individuals keep showing time and time again that they champion the rights of and can comprehend, in theory, the issues of almost every other intersectionality except when you’re Palestinian. I can see your humanity and you can’t see mine

“Palestinians being alive and upset at being annihilated are ruining the vibes…maybe if they died quietly I can go back to the good old days when I didn’t have to feel complicit or had. Maybe they deserve it for bothering me?” - ultimately the argument Contrapoints and her supporters are making here

Contrapoints comments on leftists picking up another “lost cause” in the case of Palestine is so disgusting that I’m starting to understand why she spotlights so many hours on the concept of leftist infighting…it’s all just aesthetic tone policing at the end of the day. Delete ur channel please

Kind of a joke kind of not. I’ve been watching the HThree thing unfolding and have been thinking about it since 2016. I kind of want to write about it, especially in the terms of what it was like from the Palestinian lens, how it mirrors everything honestly. Is this of interest, or is it over?

At 3pm on 9 February 2025, booksellers Mahmoud and Ahmad Muna were accosted by undercover Israeli police. They were arrested at the Educational Bookshop, handcuffed and taken to prison. Over 250 books were confiscated.
