It feels strange to hold a loading screen art contest that prohibits genAI usage, even needing to have the progress recorded as well, when the admins and a lot of players shamelessly use genAI every time, i thought having such event means the community is appreciative to art, i was wrong

I've seen so many genAI stuff in the RO server i'm currently in and honestly i'm kind of sick of it because everyone's doing it, and i'm pretty sure every other server doesn't fare any better either, maybe even worse i'd say

The RO server i'm in, most of the people there really don't regard art that well and continuously use genAI. I thought, the server i was in was better, there were many passionate artists there and the community was so supportive, and then i realize it's because i live in 2026, not 2018-2023

I do not want GenAI in fanart. I do not want GenAI in character design. I do not want GenAI in world design. I do not want GenAI in writing. I do not want GenAI in storyboarding. I do not want GenAI in voice acting. I do not want GenAI, period. If any piece of media uses GenAI, I don't want it.
