HPE/Cray recently open the source code of the support library for Slingshot network (github.com/HewlettPacka...). Thanks to a Guix-HPC package, it's now possible to seamlessly deploy a Slingshot-capable MPI stack with performance on par with native MPI! #HPC hpc.guix.info/blog/2024/11...

It's #SC24 week, so what better time for the Bristol Centre for Supercomputing (BriCS) to assemble the 5MW data centre for Isambard-AI. Of course we have typical UK winter weather to contend with, i.e. wind, rain, and today even snow. Fantastic support from HPE and Contour makes this possible #HPC

This seems to be an interesting approach to prove the provenance of pictures. Which I think is really needed. It is not Leitz-specific, they just made the first camera with it.
