Banned Books Week is almost over! The Trump administration had at least 596 books removed from schools serving military families. Don’t forget to get out there and read some of the books they tried to keep off the shelves. Happy Banned Books Week!

🍒 Fun notes: Day 3 is a succubus posing as a SWer, caught between dualities and identities. Traditionally succubi and incubi were the same being, gathering seed while female then impregnating others in a male form when they needed to reproduce. Which, is way cooler than being all-female sex pests.

🤤 When I say I trust this sentient Moss author with my life...I mean it because I will be reading TF out of this! They do *not* miss with their character and world building and I love to see my faves join the apocalypse-side! 😤 #lgbt+ #mmromance #booksky

Who's ready for an unhinged post apocalyptic gay romance set in the Netherlands? Fogfall is now available for pre-order: books2read.com/fogfall Releasing November 28th! #gayromance #postapocalypse #scifinovels #mmromance #gayreads

Cover for fogfall with features (not an exhaustive list): selective mutism, blue-orange morality, murderer x cannibal, soft for him only, post nut regret clarity, enemies to lovers, love taps, so much violence
The features (aka tropes) are on smudges of white and red, there's blood splatter

Anyone else just tired? It’s constant shenanigans from this administration, and our mental health has taken such a beating. We just wanted to say that if you’re feeling the same way, we understand. We’re here with you and for you. It’s a lot.

Sometimes love is asking your black friends to absolutely rip your art apart with critique so you can do a character justice 💅🏼 They did me right by doing me dirty because when I say I'm so proud of how my Storm piece is coming along~🌹 Gotta do her aura ✨right✨ and not drop the ball.

Cover reveal days are such fun, huge days for authors. But you know who they can also be huge for? The illustrators. Don’t forget to credit them. Cover reveals always blow up outside of an author’s bubble, and someone who sees it could be that artist’s next gig. ❤️

Also just the idea of going online and deciding to take money and space from LGBT+, BIPOC, disabled and advocacy voices especially leaves a nasty impression. Yes money is clearly a factor for this choice but I refuse to believe it's *only* that shallow in the choice to perform virtual blackface.

I started my AI Hall of Shame mostly due to the targeted efforts of these mass slop-producers encroaching on space for marginalized voices to shine more and more. Queer or alternative Supernatural, Romantasy and Dark Romance seem to be the primary sweet spot targets for them. (Also Monster Lovin')

More AI Hall of Shame: Ashleigh Giannoccaro or Coral Hart writes under at least 21 pen names, including Celeste Riley, Robin Ash, and Sydney Marsh. She founded Future Fiction Press and Future Fiction Academy and has supposedly taught over 1,600 buyers how to replicate her mass AI slop methods.

An AI generated image of a book cover of Sunset Harbor Series by Coral Hart featuring a seaside cabin in pastel blue with pastel pink roofing and a porch.

AI Hall of Shame: Coral Hart: Profiled in the New York Times, Hart has generated over 200 books under at least 21 pen names and runs a coaching business teaching others how to mass-generate AI 'books' to sell on Kindle Unlimited and other online retailers.

Second part of Blake R. Wolfe's AI shame slot showing the amount of books they are cranking out. To me if you are willing to use a crap ton of AI art and text to promote your work then these sort of book numbers are not natural writing. (Also writing under Atreus Rosewood and Eoghan R. Cunningham)
