Last week for @thenerve.news I wrote about the horrifying shift we are now seeing on the right and in the centre, from climate denial to fatalism. www.thenerve.news/p/natasha-wa... This article today in the Telegraph is an even more shocking example of this amoral fatalism.
Even the Telegraph cannot deny reality any longer. Only last year, Telegraph columnists like Allison Pearson were still doing their ‘just like 1976’ denial. But while denial is out, I fear fatalism is in. Even this column ends with a plea for a rain dance rather than net zero.

Far from operating transparently the militant suffragettes covertly ran destructive arson and bombing campaigns that harmed both property and people. Learn some history before quoting it fgs.
I find it extraordinary and truly infuriating that the judges could say this. How can radical histories be so completely misunderstood, generation after generation, even by - or especially by - those in positions of power?
