@velshi.com Yes, data centers can be inherently bad... They use too much water They are noisy They pollute & need to talk about whether AI should go forward until there are strong regulations - they are frequently wrong, do things told not to do, and already being used in war = dead children

It’s bad. Ukraine is still effectively hitting both inside Russia and occupied Crimea almost daily, but Putin (as usual) is targeting population centers instead of legitimate military targets.

The irony is that some of the loudest voices warning about “communism” are supporting an unprecedented concentration of executive power. Attacks on independent institutions, pressure on the media, demands for personal loyalty, and weakening checks and balances are not signs of a healthy democracy.
