Ok the "prefab intersection" demo is kinda fun to just roam around now. This also shows off the RoadLane path connection debug HUD top left, should have thought of that ages ago. It reveals when you have neighbor left/right lanes to swap between. #godot #addon

Once upon a time Fry's sold a very unique (only 50 made in total) hand painted "Spartan" PC case! We happened upon one and have it on display and it is for sale!

PC Case with unique hand painted design of a face

If you can't do something in Windows you usually go "ah well" and move on with your life but Linux has so many ways where you can sort of do something that you end up just driving yourself insane and people go "see this is the bullshit you gotta do in Linux" when in fact you don't gotta do that.

Sprawl trilogy still stands out at the top of my "favorite books" list. One of the few trilogies that I go and reread every few years and come away with different thoughts.

I think that: "And, for an instant, she stared directly into those soft blue eyes and knew, with an instinctive mammalian certainty, that the exceedingly rich were no longer even remotely human." (Count Zero) is the @greatdismal.bsky.social quote I keep coming back to the most... Almost daily TBH

this is the pitch that got so many companies on board and investing in the bubble. This is the naked truth of what capitalists want: pure unhindered income once the annoyance of people needing food, shelter and healthcare is removed. They'll be able to sequester themselves away from us permanently

SAM ALTMAN: “People talk about how much energy it takes to train an AI model … But it also takes a lot of energy to train a human. It takes like 20 years of life and all of the food you eat during that time before you get smart.”
