The fact that *this* Spain — a team where kids whose parents are from Africa are some of the best in the squad — won in front of Donald Trump is kind of poetic. Spain still has huge problems with racism, but this team reflects a new beautiful reality that deserves to be celebrated.

Disincentivizing widely-used online services from offering strong encryption. During a war with Iran. A country that's been conducting cyber operations against U.S. targets for years. That's what both parties think belongs in the NATIONAL DEFENSE BILL.

There's another effort to break encryption in the US Senate! The STOP CSAM Act was added to the current version of the annual defense spending bill, known as the NDAA. If passed, it could require Internet infrastructure services and online platforms to break encryption to scan all data.

Illinois expanded vote-by-mail because we believe voting should be easier, not harder. Now, Trump’s handpicked Postmaster General is threatening to withhold mail ballots unless states turn over voter rolls. That's not election security. It’s voter suppression.

I say this with no ill will or animosity: if you hate the Democratic Party, then please don’t run for our nomination. Don’t use our resources. Don’t rely on our volunteers. Don’t use our infrastructure. Don’t ask Democrats to invest their time, money, and energy in your campaign.

Broseph, you lost in nyc for a REASON. The candidates who won don’t hate the party. Their constituents do actually support the party. They ARE the party, and the party is rejecting YOU.

Focus on the party you actually support. Political parties aren’t perfect, but they’re built by millions of people who knock doors, make calls, organize meetings, & fight for the values they believe in. If you don’t believe in the party, then don’t ask its members to carry you across the line.

If we actually want to appreciate moms, we should be providing free childcare, healthcare, and guaranteed income for stay-at-home parents to put more money in families’ pockets and ensure no SAHP is reliant on a partner for their economic security. Idk I think that’s better than 15% off a vacuum.

What's especially funny about this is how hard Ilya worked to try to persuade people that he hadn't meant anything nefarious by referring to Justice Jackson, at the time of her nomination, as a "lesser black woman." When people show you who they are, believe them.
