Not everyone’s doing it. Mike isn’t. I’m not. My writers’ room is not. In fact, I only know of 1 writer who admits to using AI to brainstorm with. Some undoubtedly use it. But clickbait headlines like this create a permission structure for more to do so. You don’t have to and you shouldn’t.
Writing fiction in any genre should be a purely human exercise. If you use AI to generate *any* dialog, story ideas, character shapes, *anything* creative, you're betraying the very concept of artistic expression. This is a bright flashing red line for me. www.wired.com/story/the-bi...
