holy shit -- Schiff ties Trump's judicial nominees in knots by asking them who won the 2016 before *before* asking them who won in 2020, which results in them sounding like election deniers about Trump's victories!

I enjoyed the first episode of the new season of TED LASSO, but I'm surprised they didn't do a double-episode premiere. This first one wasn't really about the premise of the new season. It was more like a Zero Issue than a season premiere.

Yeah, it was Ben Reilly, because editorial decided we use the present versions of all the characters (I wanted the classic versions of everyone, but I lost the debate). So we kinda pretended it was Peter Parker. www.aol.com/articles/why...

Why The Real Spider-Man Wasn't Part Of Marvel And DC's Biggest Crossover - AOL

When DC and Marvel crossed over in the 1990s, Spider-Man was a part of the action — but it wasn't the Peter Parker version of the character.

El-Sayed: There is so much more that unites us, however much we might disagree with our democratic opponent, there is so much more that unites us than divides us. And so to all of our supporters here tonight watching on TV—tomorrow, we begin to mend fences.

30 years of the Superman & Lois Lane marriage (save for 4 years where it was out of continuity.) Since then, three screen incarnations of the couple have been married and two more skipped right past Lois not knowing the secret. The Triangle Era fans totally won over the Silver Age regressives

So, this month DC is soliciting orders for the Superman & Lois 30th Anniversary special, and many of the original team that brought you the wedding are involved! Here’s the wraparound cover art Dan Jurgens pencilled and I inked! Preorder from your local comic shop! Thanks!

I had to code and pronounce a time of death on a respiratory therapist colleague. There's a memorial plaque for her outside the emergency department to this day. I wrote and re-wrote my will. I will never forgive these ghouls trying to rewrite history and deny our experience.

RFK Jr said these words today on national television "There were ICUs that were empty all over the country including in New York at the height (of the pandemic)" hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha You are a fucking idiot hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha <sobs silently>

So many people in so many fields did nothing but make themselves/their experience available for so long, and they largely got shit all over for it by people who think they're owed success by virtue of existing! They got screamed at for being nice or silly. It sucks! I don't blame them for stopping!

It was so damn depressing to watch every TV writer who was willing and eager to have open, intelligent conversations about their process get hounded off social by a combination of aggressive stans and belligerent wannabes defending the right to be a shithead to creatives

I keep thinking about the discourse from the other day suggesting writers are gatekeeping writing information for ourselves and I just think back to 2019 when every writer was out there giving away writing advice until one by one each stopped because social media blows and we can't have nice things.

Susan Collins announcing she'll vote against a controversial nominee is basically the moment it becomes clear that nominee will be confirmed. It means Thune has enough votes to confirm, and thus, Collins gets a pass to look independent.

I think the newsprint makes those single color backgrounds look way better. I had compared some Brianiac Trilogy pages a few years ago and the solid bright color backgrounds look too flat in new reprints and digitally. www.miraclemonday.co/the-brainiac...

The Brainiac Trilogy - Miracle Monday

Read “The Brainiac Trilogy” pretty good. Nothing exceptional, Not the best version of Brainiac. but then it has a killer final page in Action Comics
