Only a fool would doubt the Seattle Mariners

DO NOT CONTACT ME. I WILL NOT ANSWER. NO!!!!! NO!!
It's so funny that the Mariners spend every offseason loading up on MLB contracts for guys they have to DFA by August
/To the tune of “Hey Jude” Two Moves
A thing that has been obviously true for awhile now remains true: the people who own and run the Seattle Mariners are cowards.
The Mariners have acquired a limited player in his 30’s for a part time role. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
Luis Castillo broke the playoff curse and is the greatest trade of the Jerry Dipoto Era, which is an era of infinite time so you know it must be good. Go win the World Series for the Pope, Luis 🫡🫡🫡
Feel like I should share this photo of Seattle I took this morning
The Mariners having to trade from their incredible homegrown rotation before extending any of them feels like such a massive organizational failure from top-to-bottom
@JeffPassan tweeted Multiple teams have engaged the Seattle Mariners on a potential trade for right-hander George Kirby and get the sense he is available and could be moved before the Aug. 3 deadline, sources tell ESPN. Mariners have been listening on starters Emerson Hancock and Luis Castillo, too.
Per Spotrac there are 13 teams with lower 2026 payrolls than the Mariners. 10 have better records than Seattle. This season thus far is a comprehensive failure: players, manager, front office
Me, in a quiet car right after seeing THE ODYSSEY “ANYWAY I THOUGHT IT WAS A REALLY GOOD MOVIE! WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHY AM I SHOUTING IM TALKING NORMAL I DONT SOUND LOUD TO ME! ARE YOU SURE I AM SHOUTING I FEEL LIKE IT SOUNDS LIKE IM WHISPERING”
one thing you need to understand when you watch a major league baseball game is, these guys are some serious big league ballplayers. they're the real deal. i'm talking about some real big-time types of guys
Rooting for the Mariners to win tonight, take the series from the Dodgers, and showing the world that shrewd management beats extravagant spending any day! Go Mariners!
It remains the most complete and vital image in franchise history. The whole 50 years are in this one image.
From “The Double” to Cal’s 60th homer, you’ve been there through it all. Share your favorite Mariners video or photo for a chance to be featured as part of our 50 Seasons Celebration! 🔱 💙 🔗 http://atmlb.com/4fzC4PO
One potential Ross Douthat replacement at the New York Times whose name I've heard a bunch of times: Drunk Man In Unbuttoned Yankees Jersey Who Pronounces The Mayor's Name "Zor-HAN." Times higher-ups believe he speaks to the same demographic while communicating in a distinctive and populist style.
Mariners’ Record vs Dodgers Since 2012: When Kevin Millwood Pitches in a Combined No-Hitter… 1-0, +1 Run Differential When Kevin Millwood DOES NOT Pitch in a Combined No-Hitter… 3-22, -80 Run Differential Kevin! Rob! We need you!
Through 107 games the Mariners are 52-55. Here's how they've finished the last 55 this decade: 2021: 33-22 2022: 33-22 2023: 33-22 2024: 29-26 2025: 33-22 It'd be their greatest trick but they aren't dead yet. 33-22 is 85 wins and almost certainly a division title.
This should be illegal unless I am also allowed to share a cross-country flight with Jerry Dipoto
Evangelist Whitney Lynn says she preaches on planes because she loves “a captive audience.” She's not alone. It's becoming a trend. If spreading your message requires listeners who can't escape, maybe it's not as compelling as you think. www.friendlyatheist.com/p/christian-...
For your consideration: Biden Julio (2022-24) .277/.334/.467 130 wRC+ 4.93 fWAR/600 Trump Julio (2025-26) .262/.321/.453 120 wRC+ 4.05 fWAR/600 Trump take Julio
I did not think they’d struggle to reach .500, but I did find it wild to see media and projection systems pointing at 92-95 wins. The org predictably did not improve itself over the offseason, and there was absolutely no way the positional group was collectively going to repeat 2025.
I think I still think the Mariners will make the playoffs this year but I have never felt less sure about that than I do today. August could make their traditional scorching September mandatory, and that’s a really tough ask.

Renaming the group chat where me and the fellas talk trash about the Seattle Mariners
