love to watch everyone that lives in seattle or visits it for any amount of time gush over the city while folks who live in north bend and aberdeen and other far flung cities call it a hellhole they’re afraid to visit. everyone should laugh at how weak and scared they are

We love making fun of tourists/future transplants in this city, but admit it: It's been really nice to see thousands of people from across the world call total BS on the "Seattle Is Dying" narrative by enjoying the hell out of us for everyone to see. It's undeniable they're having great time here.

the world cup is just so cool because you get exposed to so many cool people from different countries and players and fans. It's rad and makes the worst people mad or indifferent

Reheating this because my unemployment benefits expire next week. It’s been 6 months since I was laid off, I’ve sent out hundreds of applications, and I’m no closer to finding my next job. If anyone has any leads on open marketing, content, or ecommerce roles, I’d be so grateful for a connection.

Well, it happened. I was laid off from my job yesterday. If anyone has any leads on open marketing, content, or ecommerce roles, I would be so grateful. And if anyone wants to hire me to write about baseball full-time, I wouldn't be opposed to that either. www.linkedin.com/in/jakemailh...
