Found this at the library. Has a forward by a Bruce Timm (that’s another one of my superpowers: I usually read the forward).

Seriously. It’s like why go to the party if you’re not going to chat with anyone 🤪
I like when people post really stupid opinions and turn comments off.
Looking forward to this. Hope it isn’t $50 to get my copy of Batman Adventures signed 😅 (Gail Simone and Frank Quitley signed Batman 1 and All Star Superman 1 for me gratis, at my first fan expo) 🙏
We really need a new word for this. Censorship should be reserved for when the government or some other power forcefully suppresses something. A video game company changing a design is not censorship; it’s just a design choice that terminally online fans didn’t like 🗿
This was one of the most expensive primaries ever, with an outside group throwing down $30 million only to see their candidate lose. So what does Politico talk about: how the winner should have had a larger margin of victory while being massively outspent 🤡🗿
Depending on who you ask, Batman #183 was either: A) a brilliant bit of silver age storytelling or B) a goofy misfire that sidelined Poison Ivy from the rogues galley for 15 (!) years. One thing is certain: this scene from 183 wound up in the Batman and Robin movie. I discuss below 😅
Batman and Robin has the dubious distinction of being the lowest rated Batman movie on Rotten Tomatoes 💀 But in my book, it's the rare film that goes for "so bad it's good" and mostly gets there 😅 I can't say this movie was good, but I enjoyed it and talk about why. rss.com/podcasts/ama...
I do enjoy how Absolute Batman has a Little Rascals style group photo of the Gotham gang 😆 I’d like to think the redhead with glasses is lil nerdy Pam but probably not 😅
The Facebook experience is generally aggressively bad and it’s basically impossible to tell what’s real there these days. On the other hand, there’s a bunch of accounts that exist to share panels of old comics and I’ve found some bangers that way 😅🙏
Absolute Batman is a perfect example of my Bats fandom. I read the Poison Ivy issues the month they came out 🌹🫡 I have the collected edition in my backpack and will read the rest of it someday 😅 (But seriously I’ve heard it’s really good)
I posted this an hour ago😅 Reddit is where my civ 6 peeps are I guess 😆
Finished DC Bombshells Vol 2 last night. It was good. It has several homages to iconic images that I really enjoyed, such as Lunch Atop A Skyscraper with the Batgirls gang. This one also had a focus on getting that version of the trinity together, which was fun. Amanda Waller in there too 🫡
I’ve gotten into Reddit lately and I gotta say: if you do posting by topic it can be pretty good. It definitely has a pretty active Civ 6 community 🎉🫡 www.reddit.com/r/CivVI/s/wX...

I know active verbs are essential for headlines but “breaks silence” is massively overused, often in questionable context. This news was announced yesterday. How much silence is really being broken here 🤔
Ulmo rising out of the sea like Poseidon in front of Tuor is a mainstay of Silmarillion Tolkien calendar content 🌊
It’s kind of wild how the Wa Po Ed board is just self parody these days.
I’d rather have media sharing in the chats 😅
Update: group chats can now host up to 100 members.
I watched the first three minutes of this episode and was totally intrigued. Comics are iterative. There are always new interpretations I generally just hope that I’ll like the latest version 😅
Thorn is a bit of a deep cut. I saw her in Harley Quinn; she came for the Queen and missed 🫡
Finished Vol 1 of DC bombshells last night and it was really good. Basically the premise is that it’s 90 percent women superheroes and while the guys are off fighting in the war and it mostly cooks. Loved Harley and Ivy in their bit part; French Ivy who was very much a franc tireur 🌹🫡
Going to listen to this while I pixel art!
