I don’t know much about life. But if I can offer one piece of advice about raising boys it’s this… Don’t chase them. If you need them for something, sit down as if you’re about to enjoy a nice drink. They will find you. If you want some peace, ask them if they want to help you with a job. Gone.

With Paper 3 around the corner, I just want to say a massive thank you to all of you that spend time analysing data, make us wonderful practice sets and collating it all to use with our classes. 🩷🙌 You guys are absolutley mint. And the last few weeks would be so much harder without you all!

#AlevelMaths another silly marking question from me. If mark scheme says “must see a correct expression with all powers of evaluated prior to obtaining 9/4” then is this full marks with crossed out line missed or do they need to include that line. Question says fully justify answer. (This is AQA)

#AlevelMaths odd question but in a proof by counter example question to show that something is not > is it acceptable in the final line to use the symbols >/ (/ through the > for not greater than rather than say < I wasn’t sure if this is a valid symbol?

I was supposed to finish planting out our new flower border yesterday but instead I fell over on the decking and sprained my ankle 😫 stuck at home resting today and hoping it improves enough for me to hobble my way through the last few days before half term.

Can someone explain to me expectations on the appropriate degree of accuracy in force and motion qs? Is it that if they use g=10 then answers should be to 1 s.f and g=9.8 then to 2 s.f, is this expected even if question doesn’t say to give to appropriate degree of accuracy? We do AQA #AlevelMaths

In #mathstoday I enjoyed the challenge of teaching Chi squared tests to #coremaths After overwhelming them with normal hypothesis tests last week this week I used diffit for teachers to create scaffolded worksheets, it was great in the final lesson to see them successfully complete the full test.
