Re that “Could you really cope without AI?” guy, I think it’s really nice that this place has reached the stage where it can have a Main Character Of The Day.

I’m enjoying #TheRapture- like that I’m three episodes in and still not competing sure what kind of show I’m watching - I am struggling with the main character being called Doctor Fox though.
In other news... Tomorrow evening we'll reveal the result of our "extensively" researched poll to determine your favourite Christopher Nolan film. Its incredibly tight at the top and one person's vote could make all the difference. Polls close tomorrow lunchtime :)x bsky.app/profile/lipp...
Who's up for a little fun/distraction? With The Odyssey firmly out there what's your TOP FIVE Christopher Nolan films. Let me know your choices, in order, and I'll publish the results of this collated unscientific research on Saturday night. Cheers 🎬📽x
@serailway.bsky.social I’m on this train, I’ve just watched a “high speed” come into the platform alongside after us, and leave before us. If you’d announced that, we could have changed trains.
Early finish today, lovely. On the down side I’ve realised this Friday lunchtime train to the coast is THE HEN DO TRAIN. There’s at least two on here, the Prosecco has been opened…

Huh. Went to see Bodyworks when it came to London in 2002. Brick Lane, I think. Remember enjoying it, not so sure I would now. www.theguardian.com/artanddesign...

Is he genuinely expecting us to believe that the French committed an act of war because Chris Fucking Philp was on a boat nearby? Thinking about it, I can actually see how that would be quite tempting.
Once again, the BBC, you are allowed to report objective truth. A simple sentence here saying “This is of course bollocks” would sort this whole article out.

Does anyone else go easier on a film/TV series if it’s in a foreign language? Like there are obvious flaws that would get on your nerves if it was in English, but you overlook them because it has subtitles. Probably just my middle class smugness. #TheSentinels #LesSentinelles #ImBetterThanYou
Went to this HyperJapan thing at Kensington Olympia. Not my sort of thing- anime/manga/cosplay etc., but the kids had a ball and it put a massive smile on our 14 year old’s face so well worth it.
Ian Fleming’s typical day at his estate in Jamaica where he wrote all his James Bond stories.
I like #TheHundred. Yes I’m aware of all the criticisms, but it’s a fun format and the kids enjoy it. I do hate that the ECB and broadcasters don’t actually seem to have confidence in it though. All the in crowd interviews, next ball predictions, viewers questions to players etc.
I’ve just been made aware of Alanis Morissette’s debut single. It does not sound how I imagined it would. Not by a long way. youtu.be/G_mxesp3w3E?...

That Weird Al story reminded me that you all need to watch Weird: The Al Yankovic Story as it’s a brilliant spoof rock biopic and I can’t believe it wasn’t a massive hit. Also it stars Daniel Radcliffe, and I think he’s probably a good bloke.
Car companies should do an advert showing people using the car at different stages in their life. Don’t think anyone’s done that.
Everyone has heard of the Grateful Dead but barely anyone can name a song by them, as they are almost all completely unmemorable. Their lofty reputation is inexplicable.
Dozed off listening to the new Yard Act album on the train this morning. (Not a complaint, I like it and the train nap is an important part of my daily routine). When I woke up and it was still going though, I did find myself half asleep thinking how much I was enjoying this new Idlewild song. Hmm.
(Sort of) SPOILER FOR #TheOdyssey ************************************* When Odysseus was telling his wife about his journey, do you think she got suspicious when he said “And then I HAD TO spend years on a lovely beach doing drugs with Charlize Theron”?
