My sister has an infected incision. It is actually from the steri strip, and it caused a blister. We are both allergic to 3M bandages. They didn't know it was made by 3M. So she is on antibiotics. The same thing happened to me 25 years ago.

This dish came across my FB feed and I tried to replicate it. I thought I saved the recipe - nope. It is a sundried tomato sauce dish. Really good.

A bowl of one-pot pasta with shells, and a creamy sundried tomato sauce.

Adventures as a homeowner: I just needed the one special cabinet door hinge screw. Had to buy a hinge just to get it. Well, at least now I have spare hinges.

Holy crap. This higher dose of Ozempic has really told my body how it should have been working and I can tell. It's learning how to properly breakdown food into energy and not store it as fat. I'm exhausted. I'm hungry again. But this time, I know how to control the hunger.

1. Energy 2. Oil 3. Potash I know lumber and steel will be in there for sure, but this three will hurt them a lot. Carney knows we can hold out until the midterms.

Can we please banish all influencers who gatekeep where they got something and will send a link instead, to an island with fire ants? JESUS. Just tell me where it is from. I am not paying you one damn cent to click a link THEN buy it.

Good news: I finally got to installing the new shower head. Bad news: We do not have a standard pipe coming from out the wall (straight, doesn't curve at the end). So I need to get an extension.

Janice, what a comment. Fares should be free for youth, period. Maybe instead of saying it is going to be an issue, put more fleet on those busy routes?!! Just a thought.

A photo grab from the Friday August 21, 2026 edition of the Winnipeg Free Press; where City of Winnipeg Coun. Janice Lukes shares her concern about the new free transit passes for Manitoba youth starting in September.
"Coun. Janice Lukes (Waverley West) said she fears that even with a staggered introduction, adding the free passes in September could overload the system and lead more riders to wait longer as buses filled to capacity pass them by.
"I personally think it's going to be chaos come fall, regardless of whether it's staggered or not. I hope it isn't... I really think it's a great idea. I just really think it was ill-conceived that we could pull this together for September when it was announced in March," said
Lukes."
