One headcanon I have for all Vashes across the board is that they're all random noises guys. They go "whoa!" and "wahoo!" and "ough…" and "yeowch!" and "boom!" and even a good old "yippie!" whenever life allows (and, of course, when wildly inappropriate). Man who comes with his own SFX department 🌪️✌🏼

My preview for Final Frontier! The story is called Bon Voyage, here's a snippet: By now, that helmet is a glaringly uncomfortable fit. A tube connects it to a small backpack, clearly fabricated for the clunky suit Wolfwood stopped wearing. Against the organic brilliance of Wolfwood's body it's downright unwieldy: the millions and millions of unfathomably tiny and interlocking systems within him that, no matter how strained, produce and reproduce life ephemeral. So focused has Vash become on this--their--alien, they can hear his heartbeat. Sense his every breath, how oxygenated air cycles in and carbon dioxide out of his lungs. Time flows slowly around Wolfwood; minutes and seconds Vash has grown hauntingly aware of once eternity stopped being an option. The sight of him has Vash's insides squirming with guilt. All they'd wanted was to grant Wolfwood a better tomorrow to hope for. (Vash is older than most of their galaxy yet knows nothing of nurturing life. Of living. All anyone ever does in their care is suffer and die.)
