LRP: Most people forget that it's not just Animators in Animation there's a ton of us in other departments like Paint, Clean-Up, Layout, Scene Planning, Backgrounds, FX, Compositing, Editorial, Colourists, Character and Prop Designers, Writers, Riggers, Modellers, and many more that have been hit.

The shit part about most animation in America is that we keep making animators who are so goddamn passionate and skilled yet we force them to do other things because outsourcing is cheap and exploitative as all hell.

Now that the Adobe debacle has started to die down, please don’t forget about the animators. There are a lot of crafts, including animation, that have gotten the shit end of the stick during bargaining for decades. My craft is dying. We need more in house animation.
