I keep going back and forth on how traumatized Chel is, but after experiencing trauma myself I need a character that’s been through it. She is worse off because she’s traumatized and has to almost completely start over.

One of the techniques I used to work through my anxiety was imagining people as MapleStory characters. Scolded by my boss? She’s a tiny little chibi pixel character F5ing. I was able to separate the emotion from the situation and move past it instead of freezing up.
