People with kids have seen the cheap shit toys go from ok junk to dollar store quality across the board. Grandparents buy things of Amazon with no idea how flimsy and disposable it is. And then get indignant when you try to refuse it as clutter and soon to be trash.

I’m fascinated by the speedrunning aspect of this. She’s crammed a season’s worth of spotlight and controversy into three weeks. The burnout will come just as quickly.
