Lupe didn’t eem know Tribe lyrics at one point and admitted to having serious blind spots in his Rap knowledge… You expect me to go to Cambridge to listen to a dude who wasn’t even aware of King Sun, Lord Shafiyq, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Just-Ice, KRS One & Rakim in ‘87? He was 5, bro. NAWL.

I often get invited to the stuff Lupe Fiasco does at MIT but I just don’t align with Lupe’s approach or his viewpoints and opinions about Rap or want to engage with his version of discourse especially in the forum he created. Most of the people in his circle feel he’s an authority… I’m 51 years old

Councilor Flynn just blocked a non-binding resolution calling on the city to set up a coordinated emergency response plan to help Haitian immigrants facing loss of their homes now that they lost their TPS status today. Flynn wants more info on how much helping Haitians in Boston would cost. 1/2

my pinned tweet for years was "I write for the people whose names get underlined in red by microsoft word" and...this is why. (no shade to the lovely people at the MIT Press reader, who changed it immediately as soon as I pointed it out)

a screenshot from my essay. You can see the byline: "By: Malka Older" and some truncated text as well as the corner of an image of the cover of the book and the image caption: "Martha Older’s essay appeared in an annotated version of Jules Verne’s “From Earth to the Moon.” "Martha" is underlined three times in orange by me

Prepare for an insane explosion of Islamophobia between now and November, from the same people on the right (and center!) who pretend to be exercised by the rise in anti-Jewish bigotry. The hate will be off the charts and make the anti-Zohran campaign look tame. Mark my words.

Wild to think you need to be at least 35 in order to remember back when the Milwaukee Brewers were in the American League… And at least around 40 years old in order to have any real recollection of them being in the AL East along with the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians* and Detroit Tigers *YUCK

BREAKING: Donavan McKinney has defeated incumbent Shri Thanedar in the MI-13 Democratic Primary! McKinney is an unapologetic progressive while Thanedar is a pro AIPAC pro genocide corporate puppet. A huge win for working people in MI!

A gentle observation: Some of the same older Black voters in Detroit who are being shaded for not supporting Abdul El-Sayed in the primary sent Rashida Tlaib to the House. And keep sending her there. 🤯 Yes, her district encompasses all of Dearborn *now,* but not in 2018. All politics is local.

Abdul El-Sayed will win the Democratic nomination for US Senate in Michigan, CNN's Decision Desk projects, handing progressives a major win in a critical battleground primary. He defeats Rep. Haley Stevens. https://cnn.it/4w6wmLu

I have an “email job” at a computer ALL DAY and not one part of my workday involves AI. Unless you count scrolling past the AI results in google to find the correct answer/website/result, or ploughing through AI phone trees when I call companies to get to a human

My answer is LOL ROFL (dickbrain) The terminally AI-pilled can't even *imagine* some people have *never* asked stochastic parrots to cheat at their job for them.

All the people who are anti-Al or want to
slow Al progress, I have one question:
If Al disappeared tomorrow, could you
still get through an entire workday
without ChatGPT, Claude, or any other
 Al tool?

Imagine Al was suddenly banned.
Would you actually be willing to give it
 up?

I have a bug in my ass about the way in which WNBA commentators talk about trans people in sports because they are failing the Kirby test. The point is not that there are no trans women athletes in the W, nor that trans women do not have a competitive advantage when looking at the data.
