El-Sayed: "My commitment to Jewish safety is the same commitment that I have to the safety of my own daughters. Because if there is one question of political philosophy that ought to animate us all, it's what would we do if we treated all our kids like they were all of our kids?"

Stop me if you've heard this one before but the moderators of r/Pauper have completely abandoned ship and folks who have been violating the rules of the forum have been allowed to continue to do so. I guess it's my Festivus today.

El-Sayed: "If all Mike Rogers got is that 'his name is Abdul, and my name is Mike,' you're gonna be surprised how many people are like, 'Yeah, but that's the Abdul who wants to bring down the price of my groceries and make sure I got healthcare. So yeah, I like Abdul over your Mike from Florida.'"

So my spouse and I are both short. Our kid is short. Shocking, I know. My in-laws have not shut up about getting our child on growth hormone for about four years. Even though we've asked them to stop. Repeatedly. Our kid is growing and thriving. It's the doctor's call. It's exhausting.

however many bipoc and trans players you have at your events, it isn't enough. don't settle for making your events tolerant; make your events active safe havens for the marginalized identities in your community to express themselves in and around the game.

I'm really glad that ESPN got rid of a talented and knowledgeable dude like Ryan Clark so they could pay a sleeveless punter more money so Aaron Rodgers could be on TV complaining about Dr. Fauci. What the absolute fuck is wrong with everyone

I would have *vastly* preferred cards with companion-style deckbuilding restrictions if they’re your commander - they work within the existing rules and feel much less cludgy than the permissive deckbuilding text.

Spore Cloud is one of the rudest "Did you know there's a step at the end of combat?" cards in the game. After two players hammer each other, you tap down everything so you can go ham for the next couple turns.
