When I worked in loc (outsourcing) I ended up on a small project that was clearly translated with google translate or something of the like, at least for Italian. I had to retranslate the whole game because all verbs in every string used bare infinitive instead of present tense.

Fun fact: "Reviewing an AI made translation" is more work for translators than just translating it themselves, because AI translations do not pass the sniff test beyond the most superficial. It's a loophole companies use as an excuse to underpay translators, and nothing else.

Today I finally caught up with The Red String Club, by Deconstructeam. An amazing little gem from 2018 ❤️ It's incredible how much of this has become today's present rather than a possible dystopian future.

On my way back home after the System of a Down concert in Milan. It was really good, after 20 years they are still awesome on stage too. It's only sad and kinda depressing how much the themes and meaning of their songs are still so relevant and contemporary.

I just finished watching Due Spicci (My two cents), the latest series by Zerocalcare. An emotional rollercoaster, one second laughing and the next on the verge of tears. I've been asking some of those questions to myself for quite some time and for many I yet don't have an answer. Go watch it!

Really happy I took my gf to her first ever "nerd con". Play (Bologna) focuses on TTRPGs and boardgames. She loved it ♥️ aaand I had to keep her in check from spending too much 🤣 I didn't really take pics except this AT-ST from the Star Wars larpers. Unfortunately I got sick as aoon as I got home 🥲

I'm tired as fuck. Woke up at 4:50. Still on the train to work. I caved to a bit of serotonin and made an impulse purchase, a rarity for me. Dystopia wise we're already in a cyberpunk world, further sliding into it, so I might as well embrace the aesthetics since it's only part we're missing ♥️
