If you use the BrainGlobe Atlas API directly (i.e. not through brainreg, brainrender etc), please test out the new version of the API. V3 should be backwards compatible, but we want to catch any bugs before full release.

A migratory bird brain, the Eurasian blackcap, has been mapped for the first time using high-resolution light microscopy. The open-source software tools developed form a foundation for new brain atlases to be built for any species, providing a valuable resource.
