Isekai as a genre is exploding in popularity because it appeals to a universal desire to get hit by a truck rather than live in the 21st century.
there was a manifesto for the manifesto jam called no one is going to buy your video game and I think that same energy is true/applicable to comics too. If you're making a comic you should just be making it because you love to do that and not for an imagined audience who is going to limit you.

Not to soap box about this but i feel that ppl in the english indie comics space should hear it: creating doujinshi/self published comics without the stamp of a prestigious fair or an indie publisher does not make you any less of a comic artist. drawing comics makes you a comic artist.

I think people should log off and put more of their thoughts into journals and not show them to anyone. That's a thing I think pretty regularly when I get on here and see the kinds of things y'all are posting.
