I really think the animation industry needs to move out of LA, and spread out to other states or something. keeping it isolated to one city just doesn't make sense anymore, especially with so many artists having to work remote anyway

in my career, i've been told by LA folks that my storyboards are too clean for them. then I get non-LA folks telling me my boards aren't clean enough. like... huh??

So a particular movie got leaked recently & I've seen animators blaming piracy for undermining their hard work & potentially costing them future opportunities. As an artist in animation, I get the fear. But y'all are not gonna lose jobs over this. Direct your frustation to Paramount; they messed up!

In general, I think l'm good at character expressions and acting. In storyboarding, I'm pretty good at figuring out the tone and mood of a scene and its characters. Usually get close to zero notes/revisions from clients, so I like to call myself "No-Notes Ari" lol
