Any robust theory of game design will backtest onto games that preceded the idea. This automatically removes almost anything technical in nature (eg graphics) and removes almost all financially-oriented aspects.

An increasing number of Godot 4.x games are doing this weird thing that looks like some kinda aliasing for scaled ui/graphics. In my own Godot work it never happens. The devs I talk to can't repro it. Anyone know what's going on? #godot

I played Magic mainly from 1995-1997. I only really ever played kitchen table / pile of cards style. I probably spent <$100 in total ever on packs + singles during that time.
