🔥 Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces struck 8 Russian air defense assets overnight on July 20. Six were hit in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai and two in occupied Zaporizhzhia region. The list includes a Tor-M2, a Buk-M1, Kasta-2E2, Gamma-S1M, Nebo-U, two Nebo-SV radars and another radar system.

There is hardly any ship movement in the Sea of Azov. The holding areas north and south of Kerch are also deserted. Only a few ships remain there. In the Tuapse, Sochi, and Novorossiysk area, many ships have their tracking systems active. However, as always, their true position is heavily obscured.

Russian sources assisted with military aviation confirm the loss: “I have no good news for you about the Tu-95. You can argue that people are alive and that's the main thing. That is indeed the main thing. It's just that we no longer build such aircraft. We haven't built them for a long time.”

According to the SBU claims, long-range drones destroyed a Russian Tu-95 strategic bomber at the Engels military airbase in Saratov region, Russia. According to preliminary data, the aircraft suffered critical damage, with its tail section completely torn off.

🔥 The density of this morning's air raid on Moscow was simply insane: Ukrainian missiles, AN-196 Lyutyiy and FP-1 strike drones, as well as Shahed-type UAVs were all spotted over the Russian capital, all heading to the Moscow Oil Refinery on official business matters.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't do otherwise. It had to come out. 🤯

I believe electronic warfare systems are playing an increasingly important role for the Russians in countering Ukrainian long-range drones. Ukraine did that more than two years ago. Now they are also shooting down these drones cheaply. The Russians still have to use expensive systems.

1/6 Russia is no longer fighting just against Ukraine, but also against a massive hole in its budget. It has already reached its planned annual level of government borrowing in the first three months alone. Even current high oil prices and eased sanctions aren't helping much.

1/4 A look at passenger car production figures from before the war compared to recent months reveals the industry's domestic decline. In the spring, between 120,000 and 150,000 passenger cars were manufactured; today, that figure stands at just 50,000 to 70,000.

The fuel shortage is becoming a wildfire. However, it is also possible that the Russians are overreacting here because they expect even more losses in the coming weeks. But it's also about ensuring that no one hoards 1,000 liters of fuel or even exports it to a region with a genuine fuel shortage.

Three Tu-95MS, supported by an Il-78M, from Engels-2 Air Base are being redeployed to Olenya Air Base. After this, there will be five Tu-95MS at Olenya Air Base ready for a combat sortie.

Here is the price trend for Super 95 fuel in Kazan. Within 3 years, it increased from 50 rubles to 66 rubles, which is a rise of 32%. That's twice as much as is normal in Russia over a three-year period. Moreover, these price hikes are becoming increasingly frequent.

1/3 Note the surge in February/March. The usual spikes always occur in December; that is when a high volume of construction starts is typically recorded. This is likely attributable to tax-related or other financial incentives. But now in March it shot up to a peak of 23 million square meters.

Here is a snapshot of the fuel situation in Crimea that I came across on Facebook. Super 92 usually costs around 65 rubles in Russia, but here it costs around 77 rubles. But first you have to find a gas station that still has fuel. Diesel prices are about 10% higher, and autogas is up by 35%.

As I understand it, the warheads landed within occupied territory. There is speculation that the area in question is near Avdiivka or Yasynuvata. If this is true, it demonstrates just how unreliable this missile still is.
