Defund the police: something that never really happened, but everybody talked about. Defund the scientists: something that's actually happening, but almost nobody's talking about in those terms.

Supreme Court allows Trump to launch mass layoff and restructuring plans

The justices said they were not ruling on the legality of specific firing plans but simply allowing the administration to launch such efforts while litigation continues.

Interior helped make for a nice weekend, including bikerafting on the Potomac River. Not only did we enjoy National Park Service lands to get out on the river, we saw numerous Bald Eagles, which were recovered from the brink of extinction by the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Thanks Interior!

The US government's obligations to Tribes has to include supporting voting rights and acting against voting discrimination...it's how issues like the water contamination at the opening of this article can be addressed. boltsmag.org/voting-right...
