After being laid off June 1, I landed a contract role that is set to start this week. I'm so dreading it. My fury with capitalism is at an all-time high. I'd much rather keep staying home with my family but fear of destitution drives me on 😩

This is a metaphor so on the nose it hurts. Literally, they are removing knowledge from the public domain to feed their machines and permanently deny your access to it. The privatization of knowledge and information is their goal.
