Govt planning c. 100 new data centres by early 2030s, mostly in already water stressed areas. They have no legal obligation to disclose how much water they use. Meanwhile Govt launches £75m publicity campaign to urge us to reduce water use & privatised water companies waste 19% thro leaks. Madness
Polanski is a political lightweight. I think his days are numbered which I think will be good for the Green Party.
Caring has been central to my life, and the lives of millions across the country. I'll be meeting the Prime Minister today to discuss how we can finally find a solution to the care crisis. We need to do things differently. I really hope we are on a journey to fix this.
For eighteen months, I have had to get around on crutches following surgery on my spine. I was struggling earlier today putting a bin out with one crutch. A teenager stopped and asked if I was ok and could he help. I continue to be both surprised and gratified at just how helpful people are.

It didn't "go rogue". It did what it was instructed to do. In a sophisticated way but nonetheless we have to stop assigning human agency to AI systems. Everything that happened here was as a result of human designed and instructed systems.

The Chancellor has the power to stop Farage's cynical ploy. I've written to her this morning urging her to act. Farage should not be allowed to resign until the investigation into his dodgy dealings has concluded. The people of Clacton deserve the facts first.
