Happy #810NICLEDay ! May the #Bionicle celebrations do the Great Spirit proud! (I don't have anything hew to share, so I dug up an oldie.)

Brand New Day indeed! Fun time seeing Spider-Man back on the big screen for another adventure. I think they made a worthy story to follow up everything that’s happened to MCU Spidey.

Ironically, one of my fondest memories of Bionicle G2 was watching The Journey to One in its entirety with my friend on the day the final episodes dropped aka the day the cancellation was announced. We still had a fun time despite knowing it was the end.

Did you mistake running away for moving on? Did you simply let time pass, and your promise go empty? Did you think you could go back without the weight of your mistakes? Did guilt kill your obsession, or just dampen it?

Lego Dreamzzz “season” 4 is…something. It’s painfully obvious they cut the budget since they resorted to shorts for this wave of sets. For what they are, they’re not terrible. Decent way to show off/sell toys, but far from an actual plot. There was definitely potential for a full length show.

For inspiration, I had the thought to rediscover my old MOC pages on the Custom Bionicle/Hero Factory Wikis. Grade-A throw whatever sounds cool at the wall lore-building, dear lord.

Lego Dreamzzz season 3, really fun season. I think this was a vast improvement for the series. There’s obvious comparisons to Ninjago’s Rebooted and Prime Empire, and rightfully so. They brought over some of the better elements and refined them quite well for the basis of dream/waking world.

Gonna be honest. The past few days have been nothing but me envisioning some kickass music video-clip shows. I ain’t talented enough to do them justice, but dang, there’s a gold mine here.

I'm excited to see the Obsession edits with Olivia Rodrigo's new album, especially Honeybee

Finally got around to watching Obsession. I feel incredibly icky after that experience. Great stuff!

I’m about halfway through the latest season of Lego Dreamzzz and I’ve gotta say: they’ve pulled off a couple of clever twists so far. Might just be my new favorite. Also, Dreamsmasher has a peak design, that is done an absolute disservice by their minifigure!

I thoroughly enjoyed Toy Story 5. I had my doubts, but this installment managed to convince me it deserves a place in such a beloved and peak franchise. It has heart, and I'm sure the social commentary will resonate with many.

Backrooms was about what I expected from a film adaptation of the series.

Got out my old Pokemon Firered for nostalgia’s sake to discover a very typical child’s save file including: Non-viable under-leveled team that’s just starter+unevolved mooks Completely empty item bag Clear evidence of avoiding battles to get through routes faster Didn’t even beat the Indigo League

Now having read the book, I finally got to see Project Hail Mary on the big screen. Solid adaptation in my opinion. Most of what was cut or condensed made great sense to me, and I still feel like they hit all the crucial points. The 2.5 hour runtime felt warranted.

Looking back on my old YT vids with fondness, because at least then I was doing stuff, even if it was janky af and half the views are my own.
