Under German law, selling or owning recording devices disguised as everyday objects is strictly prohibited. Because Meta Glasses closely resemble regular eyewear, the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) is reviewing a nationwide ban with fines already being issued 2/2

A few hours before Jeanine Pirro moved to dismiss the Reflecting Pool prosecution of Olympian Davey Hearn (but "without prejudice"), Michael Bromwich joined Hearn's team. Bromwich is a former DOJ inspector general, SDNY prosecutor, & Iran-Contra special prosecutor. Could be interesting.

These Yankees thought they could run 7% budget deficits forever. Bold as you please. They thought they could live like pigs in a raspberry bush, as the Finnish folk saying goes. The bond market wrath comes slowly, but is terrible to behold.

There is a lot to say about the Nolan Odyssey movie. But one point that I think has not been emphasized enough is: this is a film about living in LA, as Nolan, my erstwhile British compatriot and age mate, has done for years. I gather it’s a strange place.
