The left rightly condemns #colonialism ... until the colonising power is China. In #Tibet, forced assimilation becomes “modernisation” and occupation becomes “liberation.” Anti-colonialism that depends on the identity of the empire is not anti-colonialism at all.

民粹主义者有一个很大的共同点就是总喜欢认为自己了解某些“别人好像不知道的内幕” 觉得自己掌握了至关重要信息然后就开始非黑即白地思考 认为自己真的在思考 其实并没有什么所谓的内幕 只是他们对人性审视的方式出了问题 只看得到对自己便利的一部分
