As some may know @amypeine.bsky.social was recently diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer). This has been devastating emotionally, physically and thanks to US Healthcare system financially as well. Speaking of the US Healthcare system thanks to the... 1/2

Tomorrow I will finish out my last day of work. Times of transition can be stressful but I'm trying hard to treat myself gently this time around. To be thankful for the support I have from my husband and to find my creative voice again. My goal is to finish my current fic within the next month 🤞

Listen, I know it's horribly ironic that I'm a writer yet embarrassingly inept at writing comments. But listen. This was INCREDIBLE. I was so in my feelings through this whole thing. The flashbacks worked BEAUTIFULLY to tell their story. So damn good.

I know there's been more discussion and visibility with neurodiversity which is great, and sometimes it's ok to laugh a little at our uniqueness in that way... but it's also very isolating and confusing. Friendships are so hard for me. And frustrating. Because I don't often understand +
