i feel like everyone but me has forgotten that the official undertale tumblr account posted in-character as mettaton telling people how to tag porn fanworks about a week after the game came out. i think about this fact often

Post from the tumblr account "undertale", dated 23 September, 2015. It reads, "Hello Darlings and Gentledarlings "Hope you're all having fun with UNDERTALE. You are, aren't you!? Ooooh yes! "Just a reminder: [italics] This is a family-friendly TV show. [end italics] "Please [bolded] DO NOT tag NSFW art as #undertale. Please use #undertail tag for this purpose. i[end bold]f [sic] you see someone break this rule, you can gentle remind them. "Oooooh yes!" The post is tagged with "undertale".
