The way folks here seem to be falling for Ossoff makes me think things are going to have to get worse before folks learn what really matters. He's a charismatic guy, no doubt. But is that all? Is that enough?

Part of that is repping a purple state, but senators, in particular, can't seem to fathom why it's bad to collaborate with people who want to destroy the constitution.

It also all looks like an attempt to divide and generate violence just before the election. I don't think it will work—not at the scale they need—but they will keep trying.

I ask again, why are national Dems letting Elon "quietly" fund these races? We have two test cases. 2024 when Dems didn't make his money an issue. And 2025 Wisconsin, where they did. Guess which time they won by double digits?

Women merely had an "abstract" interest in "ideas about the kind of society that they were going to live in."
for reference, in the Dobbs opinion, Alito was like, women generally don't _plan_ to get an abortion, so how could they have a reliance interest in abortion? which is kind of an extension of 'you want health insurance? what, you plan on being sick?'

$90 in Trump's economy doesn't do a heckuva lot. If I got one of these I'd be insulted.
