The World Cup should employ a team of commentator Historians who describe the historical relations and tensions between the two countries over the course of the match.
Saw a previous student at their work place, chatted with them, and then told them good luck with finals. I remembered as I was driving away that they graduated last year 🙃

Crazy how moving your parents from one house to another makes you want to downsize your own household items drastically.
Note to self: Bring work shirt in backpack, do not wear it on the trip there. That was a foolish thing to do.

A student today asked "how did people come up with this stuff" while working on the ambiguous case, and I was so excited! We discussed ancient trig and at the end he sat there and said, "huh, that's really cool!"

I understand the sentiment, but feel just the opposite. AI is saturating every surface of students’ lives. What we have to offer them is not small tweaks to their engagements w the technology, but rather spaces separate from it via which they can develop their own critical faculties.
