Hey all! Trying to fill GenCon panels cause of last minute drops! Roast My Home Game (Thurs, 10AM-12PM) Audience gets a minute to tell you their bad game experience and you comment. TTRPG Court (Sunday 10AM - 12PM) - Audience members bring forth their crimes as players. Then we do mock court.

To clear up some misinformation, Games on Demand at PAX East and PAX Unplugged requires every GM to use safety tools. We've been doing so for years and we are not the only group to do so. We take GM volunteers regardless of background. We ran 230 game sessions last Unplugged, and 82 last East.

As a GM, how do you feel about doing teasing scenes that the players aren't there for? Usually to build tension either towards the end or in strategic moments, something I'll showcase a secret conversation between NPCs or showing the end of a combat that players aren't there for.

We are in the late stage playtesting of @brianliberge.bsky.social's Last Kiss where we would LOVE to get some people who talk about games to play it. Last Kiss is a game about Youth at the End of the World inspired by Revolutionary Girl Utena and I Saw The TV Glow. The end is inevitable.

Remember you don't have to cook for people who don't appreciate it. If you feel like your friendship isn't being returned or valued enough, then don't give them it.

My home table did their session 0 of Daggerheart using Demiplane and we must have talked for almost 6 hours straight doing character creation. They had so much fun and really had a great band of characters going.

I don't know how anyone can look at the Critical Role situation and not see how this knocks a lot of wind out of Daggerheart's sails. Just reflects a lack of confidence in your own product. It's really disappointing to see this one singular game continue to dominate every aspect of this industry.

Critical Role not playing Daggerheart is absolutely hilarious. Imagine releasing a game designed to your sensibilities that you make all the money off of, and could break the dragon game stranglehold, and then you don't.
