there is a level of "trust your audience" that is scary, especially when it comes to writing "idiots in love and denial" type of characters
i have spells where the very concept of eating food is exceedingly unpleasant and i wonder how weird it actually is, unrelated to depression or other mental illness it's probably related to my ADHD and autism, so i guess it can't be fully divorced from mentality but idk, go my biological quirk
I love these sorts of questions because I still have not seen what ch*tGPT’s interface is, or any genAI platform Literally never seen it, never touched it, never used it So yeah yknow I think I could manage

I would be thrilled to have a google that worked again! To find recipes that I know real people made and tested! To not have these intrusive ass bots condescendingly asking if they can summarize things for me, as if I'm not a grown ass person who's been reading and comprehending text for DECADES.

Then she called it her friend. Terrifying shit. She ragequit

Remember when Republicans were yammering on about mandated use of social security numbers being “mark of the beast” gov overreach. Now we’re blazing into mandated “upload your face scan everywhere” while some very profitable businesses still don’t take all basic credit cards as a form of payment.
If SCREEN were to pass, you'd be required to scan your face and upload an ID to access this site because it allows "harmful" material. This affects you even if you don't care about sex work or porn.

i think, now, more than ever its really important to interact with people who like your art and vice versa, and cultivate more community and trust among artists and commissioners and followers in general. its not a perfect system by any means but i think building trust between everyone will help

Someone I know later found out an artist (16k followers) they got a commision from uses AI and now they don't have funds to commish me or another artist they like. Not only does the slop machine steal art, these scammers directly steal work from real artists
