Spent Saturday with President Obama and New York's Cutest — turns out my first name is Mayor and I need to be doing more squats.  Here’s to building a City where families can thrive and every classroom is full of this much joy.

It's my pleasure to announce the 2026 shortlist for the Canadian Law and Society Association's W. Wesley Pue Book Prize. Thanks to everyone who served on the committee. And congratulations to the authors!

I ran against Jenica Atwin in the 2021 federal election. We debated each other on several occasions. I was impressed by her depth of knowledge and commitment to public service. I'm supporting her mayoral campaign. She has the vision and experience we need to take Fredericton forward.

@nichecanada.bsky.social has just published my "5 minute read" about the reduction/closure of #ParksCanada library services. Take a look. #envhist #cdnhist niche-canada.org/2026/03/16/i...

If Parks Canada's Library Goes Quiet

Parks Canada’s library closure reflects long institutional decline, threatening internal knowledge, research capacity, and the agency’s ability to document environmental change.

Hey #envhist! Parks Canada is ending its library services+ “decommissioning” its collection. We stand to lose a valuable set of materials that reveal if and how the Agency fulfilled its mandate (or didn’t). Read more here+write the Minister @juliedabrusin.bsky.social niche-canada.org/2026/03/10/c...
