Yknow? I like to say that theres no way I would be trans. I still say that. But being misgendered? Always makes me smile. No I dont try. But everytime I straighten my hair, it happens. Its happened twice in a month.
Something that frustrates me about con clothing policies: "Is it for 18+ purposes?" is fundamentally arbitrary. There's nothing inherently or obviously sexual about any of these costume pieces. The gas mask approach applies to everything here: "Is it adult? Dunno, we need to vibe-check case-by-case"

If ever there was a time to wear a mask. Now would be it. They have even said the air is currently dangerous to health due to chemicals and toxins within it and yeah you can suuure smell that. I mask up but so many do not and go about like nothing. Its crazy.
As someone allergic to smoke.. Not a great time, I tell ya. Sealed my window off and what a difference that has made. I dont notice it at all. And with the AC on. (Filters in there as well) I an doing okay thankfully. Hopefully others are there are doing alright!

9:40AM. July 6th. I go for surgery after 11 years of suffering and begging for help repeatedly. At this stage of things, no telling if things will go over well. But good or bad, this will finally stop so in a way it is kind of a win. Sure one way would suck ..but I won’t know! Take care everyone.
